What it cannot tell you The snapshot is frozen when you mint the link so a recipient never starts seeing data that appeared after you sent it — the date it was taken is printed on the page they read. Refresh re-points the same URL at today's data. An empty snapshot is refused rather than minted, and every link is re-sanitized on open, so a fix to the name stripper applies to links minted before it.
